Our home-tapped Grade A Amber Maple Syrup is handcrafted in small batches. Each bottle contains 200mL (6.7oz) of quadruple filtered syrup which was collected and boiled on a small New Jersey homestead. Sugar and silver maple trees were tapped by hand, sap collected in large buckets, boiled down to perfection and poured through four separate filters.
Fresh maple is syrup is not the same as pancake syrup--the thick viscous sweetness we pour over waffles at diners. The main ingredient in this alternative is often high fructose corn syrup and sweeteners are added. Real maple syrup is a bit thinner and carries a complex flavor of maple, notes of vanilla, earthiness and fruit.
